Apple Crisp
Warm, comforting fall favorite

Ingredients
For the filling
- • 6 cups sliced apples
- • 1/4 cup sugar
- • 1 tbsp lemon juice
- • 1 tsp cinnamon
For the topping
- • 1 cup rolled oats
- • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- • 1/2 cup brown sugar
- • 1/2 cup butter, melted
- • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- 1 Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- 2 Toss apples with sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
- 3 Place in a greased 9x9 inch baking dish.
- 4 Combine oats, flour, brown sugar, melted butter, and cinnamon.
- 5 Sprinkle topping evenly over apples.
- 6 Bake for 35-40 minutes until topping is golden and apples are tender.
- 7 Serve warm with vanilla ice cream if desired.
