The business expands with mail orders, meat peddling routes, and frozen lockers. Expansion reaches Kamloops and Vernon.
Salmon Arm Growth
Significant expansion in Salmon Arm, including the opening of the Lakeshore Drive store, becoming a cornerstone of the community.
Armstrong Store
Opening of the Armstrong location, bringing Askew's Foods to another thriving community in the region.
Sicamous Store
Expansion continues with the opening of the Sicamous store, serving the Shuswap Lake community.
Uptown Salmon Arm
Opening of the Uptown Salmon Arm location, featuring pharmacy, wellness, and floral departments alongside full grocery services.

Today, Askew's Foods operates five locations across the Shuswap and Okanagan regions, continuing the tradition of quality, service, and community support that Dick Askew established nearly a century ago.
